PHONE STACKING

Recently, while I was reading the newspaper, I read about this interesting game called “Phone Stacking”. This is a new growing trend around the world released by a 20-year old boy, Stephie. Here's how it works:

When you have a meeting with your friends or family everybody in the table stack their phones in the center of the table, face down. Even as the phones vibrate and ring throughout the meal, no one is allowed to grab his or her phone. If someone is unable to resist the phone's ring, he or she is responsible for picking up the check. If no one goes wrong, everyone is a winner and pays their own bill.
 

I found it really useful because we have been constantly disturbed by cell phones. For example, while you are about to tell an exciting news to a friend, your friend’s phone starts vibrating. She or he tells you to wait a minute and starts talking on phone. At this time you feel ignored. When she puts down the phone asking you “What were you saying?”, you are no more want to tell your news.
 

The cell phone has made our life much easier but we have become addicted to it and it has divided us from each other. Texting with friends, checking out mails, Facebook or Twitter from the phone are usual things now. On the other hand, trying to chat with a friend who doesn’t look at you but his or her phone is annoying. That’s why, I sometimes miss the old days with friends without interrupting by the phones. Thanks to this game, it will be a solution to being anti social and strengthen our relationships with people.
